Dr. Erickson cares for patients with hand and arm problems. He sees patients at the Raleigh Hand to Shoulder Center in Raleigh, NC. He emphasizes conservative, non-operative care in most cases. Dr. Erickson only recommends surgery when necessary or when non-operative treatment has not provided relief.

If surgery is needed, Dr. Erickson performs less-invasive surgery when possible. In order to optimize recovery, Dr. Erickson works closely with hand therapists, physical therapists, and occupational therapists for patient rehabilitation. Dr. Erickson also performs many procedures with the Awake Hand Surgery approach and uses an outpatient surgery center for most cases. He also performs needle aponeurotomy for Dupuytren’s contracture.
